Three generations, one craft
Dil Bahar Aromas began in 1959 in the narrow lanes of Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh — a city that has distilled attars and essential oils for over four centuries. What started as a single deg has grown into a trusted supplier to perfumers, manufacturers and families across 18 countries.
We never lost the craft. Our oils are still steam-distilled in copper degs using the deg-bhapka method, then tested by GC-MS so every customer — from a Delhi household to a Bengaluru agarbatti factory — can verify exactly what is in their bottle.
Kannauj's perfumery tradition stretches back to the Mughal era. We carry that inheritance forward — but with the rigour of modern analytical chemistry behind every bottle we ship.

Raw material selection
Only locally grown botanicals. Vetiver roots, rose petals, kewra flowers — sourced at peak season.
Copper deg loading
Plant material loaded into traditional deg-bhapka copper stills. Water sealed, fire lit below.
Steam distillation
Aromatic vapours rise, pass through the bhapka condenser and separate as pure essential oil.
GC-MS testing
Every batch sent to an independent laboratory. Certificates issued with batch code.
Bottling & dispatch
Sealed in food-grade glass or HDPE drums. Shipped within 48 hours, pan-India or export-ready.
